We always get asked what is the best way to care for your flowers after you receive them. It's a great question to ask, and we are here to help you get the most out of your beautiful blooms! First, let's dive in to see what type of arrangement you received. There are flower bouquets wrapped in paper, floral foam arrangements that are typically seen in baskets and boxes and then there's the classic vase arrangement.
Flower bouquet wrapped in paper:
1. Prepare a clear vase with cold water and stir in the flower food.
2. Cut all the stems at an angle and immediately place them in water.
3. Repeat this process every 2–3 days.
Other tips:
The wrapping paper is waterproof, so there's no need to take it off.
Keep blooms out of direct sunlight.
Floral foam arrangements (baskets and boxes):
1. Touch the foam to insure if it's moist.
2. If moist, then leave you alone. If dry, then grab about 1/4 cup of water and pour towards the middle of the box/basket arrangement.
3. Repeat this process every 2–3 days.
Other tips:
Keep blooms out of direct sunlight.
Classic vase arrangement:
1. Clean a vase and fill it with cold water.
2. Stir in flower food
3. Grab the arrangement and take off any wilted leaves or leaves that could touch the water.
4. Cut all the stems at an angle and immediately place in a vase with clean water.
Other tips:
Keep leaves out of water. Keep blooms out of direct sunlight.
